After a year rich in learning, the students of the fourth agroecology class have successfully completed their practical internship. Spread across several regions of Cambodia, they had the
opportunity to put into practice the skills they had acquired throughout their training, consolidating their know-how in a variety of concrete contexts.
- In Mondolkiri, 5 students specialized in animal husbandry, exploring best practices for sustainable management of local resources.
- In Kampot, Kandal and Battambang, others deepened their knowledge of soil cultivation, experimenting with techniques adapted to the specific climatic and environmental realities of each region.
Among them, Nuoey Manat particularly stood out. Graduating as a Municipal Agriculture Officer, she is set to begin her career in February. Her ambition: to help rural communities make the transition to more sustainable farming practices.
A promising future for agroecology
Of all the trainees in this year’s class, 19 have expressed their desire to continue their agro- ecology careers. Whether integrating local projects, supporting community initiatives or continuing their training, each and every one of them is helping to build a more resilient agricultural model that respects ecosystems.
These results testify to the commitment of our students and the relevance of our program, which continues to train tomorrow’s players in the field of agroecology.
Congratulations to all on a job well done!
The School will welcome its 5th graduating class in February.
