For the end of the year, Bayon Pastry School launched a range of Christmas cakes. Ginger and cinnamon financiers, macaroons, chocolate-raisin chip cookies, and in particular the Yule log delighted Siem Reap’s expats and tourists.
In order to promote these products, we organized a party in the coffee shop, decorated for the occasion, on Wednesday the 16th of December. Children met Santa Claus, sent him their letters and received a little gift. Their parents savored the cakes concocted by Sokhoeurn, Sychay and our students, with Christmas songs warming up the atmosphere… and ordered their logs for the big day! The “Kids’ Xmas party” was a great success! Festive atmosphere, lots of attendees and record of cake sales for the coffee shop!
After Christmas time, the “King cake” (galette des rois) is now the star of the coffee shop for January!
